About
Melaka-Manipal Medical College (MMMC) is a premier medical school located in Malacca, Malaysia. It is actually a joint venture from the highly recognised institution, Manipal University, India. With its close connection to Manipal University and its 62 years of experience in pioneering the field of medical education in India, MMMC is equally given the limelight in several awards for its list of achievements. Several of these awards is due to its excellence in providing medical and dental learning experience to its students and is given a Six-Star rating in the ‘Health & Welfare Cluster’ and ‘International Students Readiness’ by the Ministry of Higher Education’s MyQuest 2012/2013.
In 2001, the college campus in Malacca that comprises of a well-facilitated institution of 15-acres was later developed and later, inaugurated by the former Malaysian Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad on 17 July 2001.
At MMMC, it offers 3-course programmes which are Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), and Foundation in Science (FIS).
