Penang International Dental College (PIDC) is a private college that was established in 2006. With over 15 years of experience as one of the pioneer private dental colleges in Malaysia, PIDC offers a unique learning experience with a benchmark curriculum delivered by greatly experienced academicians and clinicians.
Located in Butterworth, Penang, PIDC offers the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) programme that’s accredited by MQA and recognised by the Malaysian Dental Council. The programme pathway allows you to pursue your first 2 years of clinical studies at Saujana Putra Campus, MAHSA University, and final 3 years of clinical training at PIDC Campus in Penang. The institution also offers a Foundation in Science programme that’s specifically crafted to prepare you for the DDS programme.
As a full-fledged dental college, PIDC has the largest on-site dental clinic in a private dental school. The clinic receives a good patient flow, allowing you to have ample clinical exposure.
With strong academic and clinical training standards, 27 batches of students have enrolled in PIDC’s dentistry programme, resulting in over 700 dental graduates, many of whom are working with the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Defence, as well as in private clinical practice. To boot, PIDC dental graduates are also making their mark overseas by pursuing postgraduate training in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong.

Accomodation
Fully furnished, air-conditioned, twin sharing rooms are available in the college campus for students, a cafeteria catering a variety of Malaysian and Indian dishes and a pharmacy and stores.
There is a well equipped 400 bedded hi-tech hospital in the same campus, which provides healthcare at optimal level. The College & Hostel Campus are Wi-fi enabled.
