About

The Linton University College was formerly known as Linton College and was founded in 1985 in Ipoh, Perak. In its early stages, the college concentrated in offering vocational and diploma level programmes in engineering, namely Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Civil engineering and Building engineering. Since 1993, Kolej Linton has been conducting Higher National Diploma (HND) courses in collaborative understanding with The Nottingham Trent University (TNTU). After years of performing in the education field, the college expanded their collaboration with other universities such as Coventry University, University of East London and Thomson River University. In May 2005, Linton College was acquired by the Legenda Education Group. Legenda Education Group is a fast growing educational group and one of the largest private tertiary institutions in Malaysia. There are currently five colleges listed under the group, three of which have been established for almost 20 years, while the other colleges have histories of over 25 years and 7 years respectively.
