University College Birmingham is based in Birmingham City Centre, there are over 8,000 students on Higher Education, Postgraduate and Further Education programmes including 1100 international students from 65 countries. the College specialises in the areas of hospitality, and the culinary arts, hairdressing and beauty, tourism, sports management, sports therapy, food and beverages test laboratories, a video production suite, demonstration theatres and computer suites including a facility for early years and degree level education.

University College Birmingham (UCB) regularly wins accolades from a wide range of awarding bodies. It is accredited by the University of Birmingham, many of our Full-time Degree, Foundation Degree and Postgraduate courses lead to qualifications accredited by the University of Birmingham with others being awarded by University College Birmingham.

Campus Information 

UCB offers specialist training facilities include restaurants, a health and leisure club, hairdressing and beauty therapy salons, food and beverage test laboratories, a culinary demonstration theatre, sports therapy clinics and top industry-standard kitchens. Sports facilities include a multi-use sports hall, gym and spa, and an affiliation with a local rugby club and a new, off-site sports facility, including grass and all weather pitches for football, hockey, cricket and rugby are available for the students. 

UCB is situated in Birmingham city, England. It can be reached easily by car, bus, rail, and coach.

Accomodation 

We have different option to suit a range of tastes and budgets. Over 1000 student can be accommodated over two halls of residence (Cambrian Hall and The Maltings), and accommodation can be offered to all years and programmes of study. All rooms are self-catering in Cambrian Hall and rooms in The Maltings are fully furnished and have telephone and television points as well as free Broadband Internet access. Each study bedroom is centrally heated and is fully furnished with a fitted wardrobe, desk, chair, shelves, notice boards and bed. En-suite rooms have a toilet, wash hand basin and shower.
